• Responsible for telephone marketing and sales of insurance products to members/clients • Meets established sales targets and other quality of business factors • Assist customers with product information and recommendations for the life and health products offered through the Affinity Group • Work with business and marketing units to encourage and promote customer retention • Prospects and produces new life, health, disability, dental and other product lines offered to Affinity Group Associations • Responsible for meeting individual sales and quality of business targets • Reviews and analyzes sales reports and other data to monitor progress towards stated goals • Utilizes marketing campaigns, advertising, and other marketing methods to meet monthly and annual sales goals • Calculates and presents quotes, writes insurance applications, follows up regarding pending or incomplete transactions as needed • Responds to member/client inquiries and resolves problems professionally, accurately and on a timely basis
Job Requirements
- 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry
- Insurance sales and/or telemarketing experience preferred
- Basic PC skills required, including spreadsheet and word processing software
