• Provide inbound customer support by answering incoming calls promptly and courteously • Verify contract information, accurately enter new claims into system based on client specific terms and conditions and confirm coverage in accordance with policies and procedures • Review all documentation supporting the claim, proof of ownership, and parts and replacement costs • Issue coverage denials where appropriate or schedule a servicer as needed to handle the damages to the customer’s property • Approve or deny estimates from servicers up to $750.00 • Maintain email box in an efficient and timely manner, responding to customers and vendors as appropriate
• Determine eligibility of incoming commercial insurance submissions • Use underwriting tools and historical reports to make sound underwriting decisions which help ensure a profitable book of business • Work with senior underwriters to strive for a book of business with a loss ratio lower than 40% • Review motor vehicle records and determine eligibility for drivers • Re-rate or revise rating as needed • Document underwriting decisions
• Supervise, coach, train, and provide leadership and guidance to the AVMA PL Accounting team • Monitor daily workflows of the AVMA PL Accounting team to ensure service levels and timelines are being met • Oversee cash entry and invoice processing for all AVMA PL product lines and groups
• Respond to emails and phone calls maintaining the One80 service expectations. • Prepare, review and process new business, renewal binders and policy changes within delegated authority • Ensure electronic files are maintained in accordance with documentation standards and retention guidelines. • Maintain working knowledge of procedures and guidelines for performing daily duties, reports and supporting relationships with agents and underwriters • Build and maintain working relationships with peers and other professionals across organizational lines; ability to work effectively independently and within a collaborative team environment
• Maintains and updates log of all renewal PIS business within the team in the respective system: Quote Tracker and Synergy CRM. • Sends renewal solicitations to existing clients in a timely manner to facilitate successful renewals of PIS policies. • Determine proper renewal tract with carriers to each policyholder. • Handles communication with insurance carriers throughout the renewal process. • Creates Pearl branded quote documents and payment instructions for all PIS renewals. • Reviews and processes money mail orders for renewal business (checks for accuracy and completeness). • Sorts mail, indexes scanned mail and distributes to appropriate underwriter if necessary. • Issues policies and processes invoices to ensure payments to carriers are on time and in full. • Provides mid-term servicing of policies, including cancellations, reinstatements, and endorsements. • Facilitates communication with carriers regarding policy and coverage questions during and after the renewal process. • Participates in monthly team meetings and provides feedback on process improvements.
• Keep existing bill count and policy premium on the books by notifying members that their premium is due. • Assist members with making payments, setting up recurring payments, or getting to the sales department if they are interested in a new policy or a new level term product. • Mailing out reminder and lapse letters timely from the system. • Consistently meet expectation of at least 50 outbound calls per day. • Review retention reports daily to see where numbers are and where focus needs to be. • Work through assigned tasks of unpaid accounts. • Assist on payment line to ensure these calls are taken timely for members that are ready to pay. • Work all credit card expiring tasks as well as EFT failed accounts. • Acquire and maintain knowledge of Affinity life and health plans offered. • Self-motivated to meet goals and keep bill count and premium on the books.

• Responsible for promoting and renewing assigned Pearl Insurance coverage(s) to existing clients over the phone and through email, mail, and fax • Conduct high volume of customer contact via the phone, email, mail, and fax to promote and renew assigned coverage(s) to existing Pearl Insurance clients • Sell ancillary product(s) to clients • Facilitate the application and underwriting process with the client and the internal underwriter • Document sales activities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system • Build and maintain customer relationships following their first year of coverage
