Affiliate Marketing Manager
EcomSEOWe build and scale brands without ads 🚀 | Multiple 8 figures+ generated
Role Description We’re now looking for a fully remote Affiliate Marketing Manager who can fully take over and scale a client’s affiliate program – from strategy and recruitment to optimization and reporting – with a strong emphasis on performance and profitability. - Own the affiliate marketing channel for selected e-commerce clients end-to-end – strategy, setup, execution and optimization. - Design or refine the client’s affiliate program structure: commission models, tiers, bonus campaigns, and partner segmentation based on performance and profitability. - Select, set up, and manage affiliate platforms/networks (e.g. Impact, PartnerStack, Refersion, ShareASale, Awin, Shopify apps) depending on the client’s tech stack. - Proactively recruit new affiliates: content sites, influencers, deal sites, comparison portals, niche blogs and YouTube/Instagram/TikTok creators aligned with the brand. - Build and maintain strong relationships with top affiliates through regular communication, performance reviews, and joint campaign planning. - Create clear affiliate assets and guidelines: tracking links, landing page recommendations, product angle suggestions, promo calendars, and simple “plug-and-play” promo kits. - Collaborate with our SEO & content team to ensure affiliate content aligns with SEO strategy (e.g. review pages, comparison articles, listicles) and brand guidelines. - Monitor performance daily/weekly: EPC, ROAS, new customers, LTV signals, and margin – not just clicks and impressions. You’ll cut what doesn’t work and double down on what does. - Implement testing: different commission structures, creatives, landing pages, and funnels to find the most profitable combination for each client. - Report clearly to clients and internally – what you did, why, and how it impacted revenue and profit, in an honest and straightforward way (no black box). - Help us build and refine internal playbooks, checklists, and “Affiliate Growth Frameworks” so each new client benefits from previous learnings. Qualifications - 3+ years of hands-on affiliate marketing experience, ideally in e-commerce / DTC. - Proven track record of scaling affiliate programs with clear revenue and profit impact (you can show examples, even if anonymised). - Experience working with affiliate networks/platforms (e.g. Impact, Awin, PartnerStack, CJ, Refersion, GoAffPro, etc.). - Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics: EPC, CPA, ROAS, contribution margin, LTV, payback period. - Comfortable with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms and basic tracking setups (UTMs, pixel-based tracking, coupon-based tracking, post-purchase attribution, etc.). - Solid analytical skills – you can read data from GA4 / platform dashboards and turn it into simple decisions and clear next steps. - Strong written and spoken English for communicating with affiliates and clients. Any additional languages are a plus. Requirements - You’re profit-obsessed: you care about net results for the client, not just “growing the program” on paper. - You’re transparent and ethical – no shady traffic sources or fake numbers. Long-term brand and partner relationships matter to you. - You like ownership: you’re happy to “take over the channel” and be accountable for its performance, with support from the team where needed. - You’re structured and proactive. You don’t wait for clients to ask “what’s next?” – you bring them the plan. - You’re comfortable in a small, expert team with an informal but high-standard culture (direct feedback, occasional memes, no ego). Benefits - Fully remote role – work from wherever you’re most productive. - High ownership: you’ll be the main driver of the affiliate channel for real brands, not just “support.” - Work with serious e-commerce brands (mostly 6–8 figure monthly revenue) where performance actually matters and budgets are meaningful. - A culture built on integrity, transparency and long-term partnerships – both with clients and within the team. - Direct collaboration with senior SEO and growth specialists – you’ll learn a lot about organic, CRO, and data-driven decision-making. - Competitive compensation with performance-based upside (bonuses tied to client results / channel growth). - Room to grow into a Lead Affiliate / Partner Marketing Lead role as we expand. Company Description EcomSEO is a profit-focused SEO agency for ambitious 7+ figure e-commerce brands. We mainly help Shopify and DTC stores turn organic search into a reliable revenue engine, not just a traffic channel. With a very hands-on approach, we act as a long-term growth partner: transparent, data-driven and obsessed with profit, not vanity metrics. Clients come to us after “snake oil” agencies – and stay because we actually execute.
