Our team is part of Database Systems organization and building the MySQL service on the common platform supporting all relational database workloads and leveraging the scale of our global presence in all Azure datacenters. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Azure Database for tackling the breadth of issues coming from running online services, such as improving availability, scalability, query performance and processing, storage and networking optimizations, operating systems integration, and more. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
