Meet the team: Our Global Transportation Team is responsible for the shipping of Dexcom G6 & G7 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems for ambulatory use by people with diabetes and by healthcare providers for the treatment of people with diabetes. We are looking for driven and self-motivated leaders to join and help us continue to expand and grow our Global Transportation Team! Where you come in: - You will coordinate and oversee the international transportation of goods from origin to destination, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. - You will analyze transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. - You will Assist in preparation and processing of shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and import/export paperwork. - You communicate well with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to arrange shipments and resolve any issues that arise. - You monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders. - You ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies. - You will collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address client inquiries and sourcing teams to provide exceptional service. - Maintaining accurate records of shipments, transportation activities, and related expenses. - You emphasize cost management, ensuring transportation solutions that are both economical and efficient. - Ensuring high standards of service and quality are maintained throughout the transportation process. - Utilizing strong analytical skills to assess logistics performance and implement improvements. - Developing and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational efficiency. Travel Required: - 10-20% Experience and Education Requirements: - Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of 2 – 5 years of related experience - Preferred: 1 - 2 years of experience in international transportation or logistics roles.
