Procurement Specialist

• The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for multiple procurement projects at one time. • Formulates requests for proposal/quotations/information, bid analysis, tenders, and risk evaluations. Coordinates preparation of RFP and SoW. • Administers and leads cross-functional teams through the competitive bidding process, directs supplier negotiations, develops, evaluates, and selects suppliers in accordance with company policies. • Strategically source services and goods using a variety of methods to ensure an uninterrupted supply. • Evaluates and selects suppliers based on their ability to provide the goods/services and at costs consistent with budgetary expectations. • Responsible for negotiation of contracts to minimize operational, legal, and financial risks. Collaborates with both internal and external legal counsel, as applicable. • Analyzes trends and makes corresponding sourcing decisions. • Participates in meetings with suppliers to rectify issues and to ensure suppliers are capable of meeting and are aware of the requirements and expectations. • Perform work according to department KPI goals and other duties as may be assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional procurement experience, with mandatory expertise in Marketing and PR, HR services, professional services, and a strong understanding of the associated service categories.
- Proven expertise in procurement processes, negotiation skills, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Solid knowledge of business and third-party services purchasing, with a strong commercial focus on project-based contracts and service requirements.
- Experience working in a high-performance, complex organizational environment with multiple systems and stakeholders, including compliance, safety, quality, and environmental management.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Self-motivated professional with excellent planning, project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Strong computer proficiency, including advanced use of Excel and the full Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with the ZIP procurement system is preferred.
