Responsibilities: -------- Requirements: Required - Ability to write detailed test cases covering positive, negative, boundary, and edge case scenarios - Experience executing functional testing against documented business requirements. - Demonstrated experience with regression testing across multiple release cycles - Experience with exploratory testing to identify gaps beyond scripted scenarios - Communication skills Preferred - 3+ Experience with complex enterprise web applications and SDLC - Prior experience in the insurance industry - Prior experience leading state or federal government projects. - Experience testing reports and dashboards, including Power BI or similar reporting tool - Experience with browser compatibility testing across Chrome, Edge, and Firefox - Experience with batch job testing including scheduling, dependency, and data reconciliation validation - Experience with UiPath Test Manager for automated test management and reporting - Experience testing role-based access control (RBAC) and user permission models - Understanding of PII data handling, masking, and privacy compliance requirements - Experience with accessibility testing standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level A & AA) and accessibility tools such as Axe DevTools, NVDA, and Color Contrast Analyzer Compensation: - The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $2,800 - $3,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset. - This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform. - The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client. • Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing QA/Automation engineering organization. • Define and execute a comprehensive quality engineering strategy aligned to product and engineering goals. • Establish best practices for test automation, framework development, and validation at scale. • Ensure quality is embedded across the entire SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes. • Drive measurable improvements in product quality, release confidence, and defect reduction. • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, SRE, and Support teams to align on quality goals and priorities. • Influence roadmap decisions by bringing data-driven insights on risk, coverage, and quality gaps. • Act as a thought leader in modern QA practices, tooling, and methodologies. • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Hire and retain high-quality engineering talent through high contact, regular reviews, and career development planning. • Establish and track key quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, test coverage, release health). • Drive operational rigor in planning, execution, and delivery across teams. • Improve scalability and efficiency of QA processes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Automation Framework Rebuild: Lead the transition from legacy systems (TestSigma) to a modern Playwright framework. • AI-Driven Testing: Proactively use AI prompts and tools to generate test scenarios and scripts, focusing on reviewing and refining AI output rather than manual coding. • End-to-End Testing: Design and execute functional, integration, and regression tests for web and mobile platforms. • API Validation: Conduct thorough API testing to check connections, logs, and results. • Test Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with Tech Leads to decide which features require automation versus manual testing based on project priority and budget. • Defect Management: Perform risk-based analysis on bugs and provide comprehensive "Exit Reports" before production deployments.

• Own the end-to-end quality process for features and releases • Define test strategy based on risk and business impact • Ensure release readiness and provide QA sign-off • Proactively identify weak points in product flows and edge cases • Perform deep functional, regression, cross-browser, and responsive testing across web and mobile platforms (iOS & Android) • Validate complex flows (payments, offers, analytics events, integrations) • Perform API testing (Postman, Swagger) and verify data consistency • Validate analytics tracking and business-critical metrics • Identify high-risk scenarios before release • Document clear, reproducible defects with strong prioritization • Verify fixes and ensure no regressions or hidden side effects • Collaborate closely with developers to resolve root causes, not symptoms • Challenge requirements and clarify ambiguities with Product • Validate UI accuracy against Figma (spacing, typography, behavior) • Ensure full requirement and edge-case coverage • Contribute to improving QA standards and processes
