Junior Accountant
Procurify
• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in accordance with contract terms and company policies. • Review billing details, customer information, and contract data to ensure completeness and correctness. • Maintain up-to-date customer account records across financial and billing systems. • Perform timely and professional follow-ups on outstanding receivables to support cash flow and reduce aging balances. • Serve as a point of contact for customer billing inquiries, providing clear and courteous support. • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to resolve billing discrepancies or payment issues. • Assist in preparing AR aging analyses, cash collection reports, and other financial reporting for management. • Support month-end close activities, including account reconciliations, revenue checks, and variance analyses. • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and enhance data accuracy. • Support the implementation and adoption of tools and automation to improve efficiency within the Finance team.
Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar Finance role, preferably in SaaS
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Curiosity and initiative—you enjoy learning how systems work and finding better, faster ways to do things.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and a willingness to learn accounting and CRM systems (e.g., Sage Intact, QuickBooks, Salesforce).
- A proactive and accountable mindset—you take ownership of your work and follow through reliably.
- Openness to learning new technologies, including automation and AI tools, to enhance financial workflows.
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- An interest in growing your career within a collaborative, fast-paced finance team.
