About the role   The Sales Training Team is responsible for ensuring the effective onboarding, and continuing education, of Sales, and Sales related professionals, within Blackbaud.  Blackbaud continues to invest heavily in the development of its Sales and Sales related teams and this role will ensure those investments deliver on both our time to value and growth goals.  As a Sales Trainer focused on continuing education, this role will report directly to the Director of Sales Training and will be responsible for ensuring that existing AE’s have the knowledge and skills necessary to increase their overall sales effectiveness.   What you’ll do   - Own the design and execution of post onboarding, in role development, programs that drive measurable improvements in seller productivity, deal execution, and revenue outcomes for Account Executives. - Deliver targeted, just-in-time enablement (live, virtual, and self-paced) to address evolving business priorities, product changes, and identified performance gaps. - Deliver global enablement programs using a blended learning approach (e-learning, self-paced content, instructor led sessions, certifications) tailored to regional and role based needs across US, Canada, BBE, and BBP teams. - Key contributor to implementing and curating curriculum, presentations, documentation and resources to support an innovative enablement program - Partner with Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, and subject matter experts to ensure enablement is reinforced in the flow of work through coaching, inspection, and ongoing reinforcement—not onetime training events. - Partner with the Awareness to Revenue organization to understand, influence, and align tools, processes, and workflows that impact AE effectiveness—ensuring enablement programs are supported by the right systems and resources. - In concert with Sales Operations, track and report the impact of our Continuing Education programs for relevant stakeholders - Establish continuous feedback loops and iterate on programs to ensure enablement remains aligned to seller needs, market changes, and strategic initiatives. - Interface with Sales leaders and functional groups to ensure our Continuing Education program aligns with our strategic initiatives What you’ll bring   - Minimum 1 - 3 years’ experience in enablement or relevant technology Sales, Marketing, Enablement of Sales Support roles in the B2B space - Familiarity with Adult Learning techniques a plus  - Ability to engage and inspire through both content and delivery - Strong interpersonal and communication skills that span various cultures and professional backgrounds as this role will support our Global operations - Highly efficient, organized and self-motivated with a passion for training and enabling success for individual contributors and people leaders - Ability to work within a matrixed organization - Must be detail oriented to focus on key programs and the orchestration of activities and events - KPIs, OKRs, Measurable Success Factors include time to productivity for new and transitioning sellers; sales productivity defined as total ARR sold / # of AEs; skill certification and proficiency benchmarks Stay up to date on everything Blackbaud, follow us on Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube ​ Blackbaud powers social impact through purpose‑driven technology and responsible AI.
