AVEVA PI System Engineer (OT/Industrial Data)

CTG is seeking a skilled AVEVA PI System Engineer to join our client’s team. This role focuses on integrating and managing industrial data across operational technology (OT) and IT systems, supporting mission-critical power plant and industrial environments. Location: RemoteDuration: 12 months What You’ll Do: - Implement, configure, and support AVEVA PI System components, including PI Interfaces, Connectors, and Integrators - Collaborate with OT teams on power plant control systems, including Ovation, to ensure seamless data capture and reporting - Design and maintain industrial data flows using protocols such as OPC, Modbus, and DNP - Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, performing root cause analysis and applying corrective solutions - Ensure proper integration of OT data into enterprise IT systems, maintaining accurate and secure information flows - Maintain system documentation, data models, and integration workflows to support long-term reliability Required Skills: - Deep experience with AVEVA PI System, including Interfaces, Connectors, and Integrators - Strong background in Operational Technology, particularly power plant control systems like Ovation - Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols (OPC, Modbus, DNP) - Understanding of IT/OT system integrations and data flow architecture - Excellent troubleshooting, critical thinking, and attention to detail Experience: - Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting AVEVA PI Systems in industrial or energy sectors - Proven ability to integrate OT data into enterprise IT environments - Prior work with industrial protocols and control systems in power generation or similar industries Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The GTM Data Architect owns the end-to-end strategy, governance, and execution of how data is orchestrated, enriched, controlled, and activated across the GTM organization. You will serve as the central owner of account and lead data strategy, bridging RevOps, Field Ops, Systems, Sales, Marketing, and AI/Automation teams to create a forward-looking, execution-ready data foundation. The annual salary hiring range for this position is $138,000 - $210,000 USD. Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits.
