What you will do: - Drive profitable growth of our Rail HVAC business in North America through strategic interfacing with end-user customers, Rail OEMs, dealers, and internal teams. - Analyze customer needs and support bidding and execution teams by providing technical inputs to contract requirements. - Cultivate relationships with service managers, project managers, project engineers, operators, and purchasing professionals at car builders and end-users' organizations. - Demonstrate proficiency in HVAC software, providing training to lower-level technicians and offering remote support. - Negotiate critical and complex long-term and project agreements to enhance business outcomes. - Exercise product line expertise to develop effective solutions for customers, OEMs, and dealers. - Implement aftermarket and technical training programs, education webinars, and direct interventions with end-user customers and OEMs in the designated geographic area. - Collaborate with cross-functional groups within the organization, providing valuable feedback on products, customers, OEMs, and dealers. - Develop market insights, identify opportunities to increase market share, and promote aftermarket parts for the installed HVAC base. - Utilize strong technical background to support dealers, OEMs, and customers in the field, ensuring the highest level of service. - Provide technical support, training, and guidance to dealers in the designated territory, ensuring they possess the necessary tools and competencies. - Analyze and solve problems effectively, managing risk and prioritizing customer reassurance during challenging situations. - Reporting and managing Field Modification Instructions. What you will bring: - Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent (Master's degree preferred) - Minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC/Refrigeration industry (preferred) - Previous experience in the rail industry is highly advantageous - Strong knowledge of HVAC /refrigeration systems, potentially in Transit industry - Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues effectively. - Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively navigate dealer, OEM, customer, and internal relationships - Basic knowledge of transport, mechanics, and electrics - Familiarity with dealer and customer business practices - Willingness to travel (50-70%) including weekends and outside regular office hours- this includes international travel - Possess strong communication skills in English, with proficiency in French, Spanish, or Czech being a significant advantage.
