• Develop and execute a multi-year UK growth strategy aligned with global and BU priorities • Deliver consistent year-over-year revenue growth across all product portfolios • Identify, prioritize, and capture high-value market opportunities • Lead strategic planning for key NHS accounts and national tender opportunities • Strengthen Verathon’s market position and competitive differentiation in the UK • Drive robust pipeline development and forecasting discipline • Ensure strong execution of pricing, tender, and contracting strategies • Leverage market insights and competitive intelligence to shape commercial direction • Guide complex negotiations with senior stakeholders and procurement bodies • Champion value-based selling by articulating both clinical and economic impact • Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing UK commercial team • Attract top talent and create a culture of accountability, ownership, and growth • Coach and develop leaders within the organization to strengthen succession readiness • Establish and maintain strong executive-level relationships within key NHS Trusts and strategic accounts • Represent Verathon with senior healthcare leaders and procurement organizations • Act as the primary commercial ambassador for Verathon in the UK • Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and UK healthcare regulations • Oversee effective forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business degree preferred
- 10+ years of commercial experience within the medical device industry
- Demonstrated success driving sustained revenue growth in complex healthcare markets
- Strong knowledge of the UK NHS structure, procurement processes, and tender environment
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams
- Experience engaging and influencing executive-level stakeholders
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and decision-making skills
- Ability to translate clinical and economic value into compelling commercial propositions
- Must reside in the UK
- Willingness to travel as required

No headsets. No glasses. Just incredibly lifelike, 3D visuals! This role is about opening doors, shaping programs, demonstrating value, and closing meaningful opportunities. Success depends on strong collaboration with Avalon’s engineering, product, and leadership teams. You’ll stay closely connected to the broader organization, ensuring customer insight and technical development move forward together. What You’ll Do - Lead U.S. defense business development efforts for advanced visualization and digital twin technologies. - Identify and pursue opportunities across RDT&E, prototyping, and operational programs. - Leverage your network to open doors and map complex stakeholder environments. - Build trusted relationships with military users, acquisition teams, primes, and system integrators. - Lead customer discovery calls and demonstrations that clearly show how Avalon technology creates measurable operational value. - Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, mission-relevant outcomes. - Represent Avalon at customer sites, live demonstrations, installations, industry expos, and major defense trade shows. - Track programs, funding streams, and emerging opportunities. - Support capture strategies and drive opportunities through complex, multi-year procurement cycles. - Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams across locations to ensure alignment across customer engagement, product development, and delivery. - This role requires frequent travel across the United States to customer sites, product demonstrations, industry expos, and trade shows.
