Join our Team About this opportunity: Ericsson seeks a Compliance Officer to strengthen its ethics, compliance and risk function across EMEA. The role promotes a strong compliance culture, provides pragmatic advice to the business, and supports execution of the Ethics & Compliance Program across a broad risk spectrum (anti-bribery & corruption, antitrust/competition, AML, sanctions & trade, anti-fraud, anti-terrorism, human rights, data privacy, reputational risk, etc.). The role acts as a trusted advisor and liaison between local business units and the central Compliance Office, proactively identifying emerging risks and regulatory developments and driving risk-based mitigation. What you will do: - Foster a culture of integrity and encourage speaking-up; act as a role model. - Implement and monitor Ericsson's ethics & compliance program across assigned entities and customer units. - Provide timely, practical guidance on compliance matters to internal and external stakeholders (customers, third parties). - Maintain close engagement with local business activities and applicable laws/regulations. - Conduct compliance risk assessments, define local compliance priorities, and plan annual activities based on risk. - Develop pragmatic solutions, carry out reviews and monitoring, and deliver training and awareness programs. - Support sales and sourcing to identify and mitigate compliance risks; support Third-Party Due Diligence (TPDD). - Handle investigations and case management; ensure effective reporting channels and regulatory interactions. - Assist with compliance aspects of M&A and integration when needed. - Prepare compliance reports and provide updates to management and the compliance organization. - Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Security, Sourcing, People and external partners. What you will bring: - BSc in Law, Business, Accounting or related field. - 5-10 years' professional experience in compliance, legal, audit, finance or related fields; experience in technology or defense is an advantage. - Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, governance and regulatory requirements; familiarity with AML, sanctions, antitrust, data privacy and trade compliance advantageous. - High integrity and alignment with Ericsson's values (respect, professionalism, perseverance). - Excellent stakeholder management, executive presence and cultural awareness; able to advise all levels of the organization. - Strong communication, analytical, structured and goal-oriented approach; able to work independently and manage multiple projects across time zones. - Proficiency in Arabic, English and French. - Flexibility to travel.
