Compliance Process Owner – Manager
S&S Activewear
• Lead the identification, development, and execution of continuous improvement initiatives across all distribution centers. • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies to reduce waste, improve processes, and increase throughput. • Benchmark internal and external best practices and integrate relevant learnings into operational processes. • Ensure consistent adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all facilities. • Drive the adoption of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and audit regularly for compliance. • Partner with safety, HR, and operational leadership to maintain and evolve a culture of accountability and discipline. • Design, implement, and enhance training programs & content for warehouse associates, supervisors, and leadership focused on operational skills, safety, and best practices. • Measure training effectiveness through KPIs, feedback loops, and continuous feedback cycles. • Identify skill gaps and recommend targeted training to close performance gaps. • Build and manage performance dashboards and KPIs to monitor operational efficiency, service levels, labor productivity, and cost drivers. • Use root cause analysis to investigate performance gaps and lead cross-functional efforts to resolve them. • Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to ensure the right tools and data visibility are in place for decision-making.
Job Requirements
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ Experience leading training or compliance programs in a distribution or manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, with a focus on continuous improvement or operational excellence
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar process improvement methodologies (certification preferred)
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable insights
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with WMS, LMS, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Demonstrated success managing cross-site initiatives
- Ability to influence and lead through change across multiple levels of the organization.
