• Your ultimate goal is to ensure that legal professionals do not just use BoostDraft, but love it enough to recommend it to their peers. • You will investigate why a user might feel frustrated or why a specific function is not being fully utilized. • By uncovering these root causes, whether they lie in the interface, a specific function, or our instructional materials, you will work alongside our Product and Business teams to bridge the gap between good and exceptional. • Work closely with Product Managers and Customer Success to deepen understanding of our customers. • This includes clarifying ambiguous feedback, conducting regular customer interviews, and helping product teams stay accountable to maintaining strong NPS. • Partner with Customer Success and Sales to identify blockers and friction in product demos and onboarding. • You will focus on finding the most efficient and cost-effective ways to resolve these issues by aligning internal and external resources. • Collaborate with Product Designers to uncover local usage patterns and established habits. • You will apply these insights in early testing so that design specifications entering development are closely tailored to our customers. • The role is designed to help you figure out what you’re best at before specializing. • Lead the Digital Transformation of Law and move beyond individual cases to influence how the entire legal industry uses technology. • You’ll get real exposure to how a startup builds and grows products, including discovering real user problems, deciding what to build (and what not to build), and supporting launches and go-to-market efforts.
Job Requirements
- Professional Legal Background (3+ years)
- Practical experience as a lawyer, paralegal, or member of a corporate legal department.
- Functional Business English Proficiency
- Ability to articulate complex ideas and hold strategic discussions with a non-Japanese speaking manager.
- Analytical and Structural Thinking
- A natural ability to deconstruct complicated legal workflows into logical, actionable insights.
- Proactive Interpersonal Skills
- Hands-on experience talking directly with customers, such as interviews, feedback calls, on-site visits, or workshops.
- Experience working in fast-moving environments where priorities change and you need to coordinate across multiple teams to keep things moving.
- Experience navigating different team goals and KPIs, and finding practical ways to move everyone forward together.
- Comfort with ambiguity and learning on the fly—you enjoy picking up new skills, tools, or domains as the business evolves.
- Experience in roles where you had to wear many hats, such as: Associate Product Manager, Consultant or Analyst, Project Coordinator / Project Assistant, Product Marketing or Growth roles, etc.
