• Design, install, terminate, and test copper (CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A) and fiber optic (single-mode and multi-mode) cabling systems • Perform cable routing, labeling, and documentation in accordance with Army and DoD standards • Conduct testing and certification of cabling infrastructure using tools such as OTDR, power meters, and cable analyzers • Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues across LAN/WAN infrastructure • Interpret technical drawings, network diagrams, and blueprints to support installation and upgrades • Support network infrastructure upgrades, expansions, and relocations across Army facilities • Maintain accurate documentation including as-built drawings, test results, and cable records • Ensure compliance with applicable standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC, and DoD Unified Facilities Criteria) • Coordinate with network engineers, system administrators, and project managers to support mission requirements • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on cabling systems • Adhere to all safety, security, and access control protocols when working in secure or classified environment

About the Role The Systems Engineer plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, client-facing IT projects across a wide range of environments. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting infrastructure solutions spanning on-premise systems and modern cloud platforms. Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Onboarding Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for leading the successful onboarding of new clients into our managed services environment. The ideal candidate comes from a Managed Service Provider (MSP) background and brings strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and network engineering. You will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth transition for new clients by assessing, designing, and implementing secure, scalable IT environments.
