Looking for Philippines-based candidates Job Role: Project Coordinator Compensation range: $1,800 AUD - $2,500 AUD / Monthly Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time. Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home. Who The Client Is: A company that operates in the interior design and construction design industry, delivering tailored design solutions across retail and commercial fit-out projects. They support projects from concept through to execution, including planning, documentation, and design management. Their approach focuses on creating practical, visually cohesive spaces that align with client needs and project goals. Role Overview: The Project Coordinator provides structured administrative and coordination support across multiple design and construction projects within an interior design and architecture environment. This role focuses on keeping projects organised, on track, and well-communicated by managing timelines, tracking actions, and supporting day-to-day coordination between internal teams and external consultants. This is not a design or project management role, but a critical support function that ensures nothing falls through the cracks. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organised, and confident in managing multiple moving parts, allowing senior team members to focus on design direction and project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Take detailed meeting minutes and maintain clear, actionable records of discussions. - Create and manage action lists, ensuring tasks are tracked and followed through to completion. - Monitor project timelines and deadlines across multiple active projects. - Follow up with consultants, contractors, and internal team members to ensure progress and accountability. - Prepare weekly project status reports summarising progress, risks, and outstanding actions. - Draft and send coordination emails on behalf of the team to maintain clear communication. - Maintain organised project documentation, files, and records. - Support day-to-day operational and administrative tasks related to project delivery.
Job Requirements
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven experience in a project coordination, operations admin, or executive assistant role.
- Strong written Australian English skills with the ability to draft clear, professional communications.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to anticipate needs and follow through without constant direction.
- Background in construction, architecture, or interior design environments (preferred).
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with project tracking tools, spreadsheets, and documentation systems.
- Professional and reliable, with strong accountability in task ownership and follow-ups.
