Role Description Join our dynamic and innovative DHS Operations organization, where your expertise will play a key role in driving operational excellence, governance, and process optimization across our internal platforms and operational systems. In this role, you will contribute to improving workflows, enhancing operational visibility, strengthening governance structures, and supporting scalable ways of working across cross-functional teams. As a Senior Process & Systems Expert, you will be responsible for driving and supporting operational systems governance, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across DHS functions. You will work closely with Group IT, Technical Support, R&D, Quality, and other stakeholders to ensure that operational platforms, workflows, and supporting tools align with business objectives, governance requirements, and long-term scalability needs. You will play a central role in transforming operational platforms and processes from reactive request handling into structured, value-driven operational enablers that support transparency, collaboration, operational maturity, and sustainable organizational growth. Key Responsibilities - Drive operational process improvements, governance initiatives, and optimization of internal systems and workflows. - Support and improve operational platforms, including ServiceNow and related enterprise tools. - Coordinate cross-functional process alignment, prioritization, and operational improvement initiatives. - Improve reporting, KPI visibility, data quality, and operational transparency across systems. - Analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and drive standardization, automation, and scalable ways of working. - Develop and maintain process documentation, governance frameworks, and operational standards. - Ensure compliance with governance, quality, and operational requirements across systems and processes. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Operational Excellence, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience working with enterprise operational systems, governance, process improvement, or platform management. - Experience driving cross-functional operational improvements and governance initiatives. - Strong understanding of operational governance, workflow optimization, and enterprise systems. - Experience with process mapping, reporting, dashboarding, and operational KPI development. - Experience collaborating with IT organizations and business stakeholders in matrix environments. - Familiarity with ServiceNow, workflow tools, reporting platforms, or similar enterprise systems is preferred. - Knowledge of ITIL, Lean, Agile, Operational Excellence, or Service Management methodologies is considered an advantage. - Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. - Fluent in written and spoken English. • Develop front-end and back-end components of our applications, ensuring optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness. • Drive the adoption and execution of DevOps practices such as infrastructure automation, continuous integration/continuous deployment, and automated testing. • Take responsibility for the management, enhancement, and monitoring of our AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring that it effectively scales with the evolving needs of the business and maintains high availability. • Design, develop, and implement innovative tools to automate operational processes, eliminating the need for manual intervention and enhancing overall system efficiency. • Play a central role in the architecture, design, and maintenance of the server environment, effectively becoming the steward of our Systems Operations. • Troubleshoot and resolve live production issues, contributing to the continued reliability and high availability of our services.

• Administering configuration and maintenance of Workday Core HCM, Benefits, and Compensation modules for international entities, ensuring compliance with Canadian (including Quebec) and Mexican regulations. • Managing business processes, eligibility rules, validations, and reporting structures tailored to regional HR practices and labor standards. • Supporting local HR users with troubleshooting, data corrections, and guidance across HCM, ensuring adherence to bilingual documentation and audit requirements. • Coordinating testing and implementation of Workday releases and enhancements that impact international HR functionality and country-specific processes. • Partnering with HR leadership, HR Operations, and local HR teams in Canada and Mexico to align system design with local legislation, healthcare requirements, and internal governance policies.

• Work with implementation teams from concept to operations, providing deep technical subject matter expertise for successfully deploying large scale data solutions in the enterprise, using modern data/analytics technologies on premise and cloud • Build and implement a solution architecture, provision infrastructure, secure and reliable data-centric services and application in GCP • Work with data team to efficiently use Cloud infrastructure to analyze data, build models, and generate reports/visualizations • Integrate massive datasets from multiple data sources for data modeling • Design, build, implement and manage APIs and API proxies. • Organizes and implements all API development processes internally and externally. • Ensures that API’s are satisfactory to business requirements, including features, infrastructure and systems • Troubleshoots and tests all features, systems, and functionality of end products. • Implement methods for automation of all delivery components to minimize labor in development and production • Formulate business problems as technical data problems while ensuring key business drivers are captured in collaboration with product management • Knowledge in machine learning algorithms especially in recommender systems • Extracting, Loading, Transforming, cleaning, and validating data • Designing pipelines and architectures for data processing • Creating and maintaining machine learning and statistical models • Querying datasets, visualizing query results and creating reports
