How You’ll Make an Impact As a Field Engineer in our Global Field Engineering expert team, you will be the primary technical engine driving Boomi’s most strategic and complex customer engagements. Key Qualifications: - Elite Technical Proficiency: Deep, hands-on command of the Boomi portfolio (iPaaS, Data Management, API Management). This role requires advanced coding skills (Java, Groovy, JavaScript, or Python) to extend platform capabilities and build custom solutions. - Cloud-Native Infrastructure: Advanced knowledge of cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration(Docker/Kubernetes). You must be comfortable navigating clusters using tools like K9s, managing data streaming, and troubleshooting runtime frameworks. - Data Management: Deep expertise in the modern data stack. You must understand the nuances of data governance, lifecycle management, and synchronization. This includes a deep understanding of data governance principles—specifically metadata management and data lineage—and the experience to design solutions that adhere to global privacy frameworks like GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA. - Agentic AI: Experience building and deploying Agentic AI solutions. You must understand how to integrate with leading model providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) and manage local Agent Gardens for data sovereignty. - Content & Enablement: Experience creating high-visibility expert content—such as blog posts, technical blueprints, and hands-on workshops—to eliminate manual efforts and scale knowledge globally.
