• Primary focus will be on infrastructure security through architecture reviews, threat modeling for new and existing services and security tool implementations, while leveraging automation to scale security solutions. • Design, deploy, and manage advanced security tools, including SIEM, EDR, DLP, vulnerability management, and firewalls. • Engineer solutions to integrate security tooling across cloud environments, ensuring seamless protection and visibility. Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to implement and secure cloud-native solutions (e.g., IAM, VPC, security groups, cloud firewalls), implement security controls for cloud infrastructure and containerized environments. • Lead the evaluation, implementation, and configuration of new security technologies to address evolving threats and stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in security engineering and tooling. • Develop and maintain secure configurations for operating systems, applications, and networking equipment and Automate security processes using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and tools like Terraform or Ansible. • Conduct security assessments and ensure vulnerability management programs are effective, addressing gaps proactively.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess SAP security requirements and develop security strategies and roadmaps. • Design, implement, and maintain SAP security solutions, including user access management, role design, authorization management, and segregation of duties (SoD) controls. • Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate security risks within SAP systems. • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards for SAP systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX, HIPAA). • Monitor SAP security logs and alerts, investigate security incidents, and implement remediation actions as necessary. • Provide training and support to end-users and IT teams on SAP security best practices and procedures. • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support SAP security audits and compliance assessments. • Stay updated on the latest SAP security developments, best practices, and industry trends. • Participate in cross-functional projects to ensure that security requirements are integrated into new SAP implementations and system upgrades.

• Identify and respond to security incidents on a global scale. • Act as an incident commander to drive incidents through the entire response lifecycle. • Design and maintain a portfolio of security alerts, automated actions, playbooks and escalation workflows in support of a high-performing 24/7 incident response capability. • Conduct threat hunting activities, anticipate future threats, and maintain forward-thinking strategies for tools/technology/processes that combat sophisticated threat actors. • Research threat intelligence reports, triage and manage resulting workflows. • Partner with key stakeholders and communicate effectively to maintain a continuously improving feedback loop of preparation, identification, analysis, containment, and post mortem activities. • Participate in on-call rotation.
