Senior Linux Administrator

• Serve as a senior-level consultant and support specialist, when needed • Primarily focus on testing, management, strategy, process improvement, customer satisfaction, operations, and/ or the implementation of solutions • Manage complete projects, involving multiple products and virtual computer environments • Work as a project leader on various size projects with the ability to perform in a highly collaborative environment with tight deadlines, and sometimes, limited resources • Develop complex technical approaches to testing and identifies new cost saving methods to leverage resources while providing a high level of output • Utilize project management skills of communication, presentation, time management, organization, and planning to successfully implement project-based solutions • Regularly develop testing documentation, procedures and reports on all project activities and issues • Identify new opportunities to sell consulting services to customers
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree or related business field with 10+ years of Linux Administration background; 5 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education
- U.S. Citizenship; Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Background Investigation
- Strong background in Virtual VMware environment
- Strong background in Ansible deployments
- Ownership mentality and is a self-starter with high level of drive
- Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Extreme attention to detail and high standard of excellence/quality for all work products
- Expert-level communicator who knows how to manage expectations proactively and clearly, both internally and externally, oral and written
