QA Engineer - Remote, India

Responsibilities - Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing. - Design, document, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios. - Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar platforms. - Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman. - Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure quality across all stages. - Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release validation processes. - Test GenAI-based features including prompts, AI agents, and workflows. - Validate AI outputs for accuracy, consistency, and edge cases. - Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies. - Ensure overall product quality, usability, and performance. Essential SkillsJob - Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC processes. - Hands-on experience in manual testing methodologies. - Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman or similar tools). - Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Ability to test and validate GenAI features and workflows. Personal - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset. - Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments. Preferred SkillsJob - Understanding of LLMs, prompts, and AI-generated responses. - Experience testing chatbots, AI agents, or prompt-based systems. - Basic knowledge of test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress). - Exposure to performance or security testing. - Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and processes. Personal - Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies. - Strong ownership and accountability in delivering quality outcomes. Other Relevant Information - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Relevant certifications in software testing are a plus. - Experience working with AI/GenAI-based applications is highly desirable. - This role offers the flexibility of working remotely in India.
