Job Requirements
- Deep familiarity with competitive card games (digital or tabletop)
- Comfortable reasoning about systems, probabilities, and incentives
- Able to explain why something feels broken, not just that it is
- Persistent and curious enough to hunt edge cases instead of playing “normally”
- Clear communicator who can translate gameplay findings into actionable feedback
- Bonus Points If You Have worked as a high-level playtester, QA analyst, or balance tester
- Enjoy reading balance dashboards or game telemetry
- Can consistently outplay AI systems rather than just survive them
- Have opinions about what makes a competitive game fair, watchable, and replayable
- Like arguing (politely) about game design when the data backs it up

• This role is primarily hands-on, with most of your time spent writing and maintaining automated tests. • Build, maintain, and scale automated test suites using Playwright (primary automation tool). • Convert manual test cases into well-structured automated tests to expand regression coverage and reduce repetitive testing. • Organize and maintain test cases in Qase, ensuring clear structure, traceability, and alignment with product specifications. • Collaborate closely with the QA and engineering teams to define test strategy, automation priorities, and acceptance criteria. • Design and execute end-to-end automated tests across key user journeys, ensuring reliable detection of regressions. • Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) to improve release reliability and testing speed. • Identify, track, and document bugs with structured reports, ensuring engineers have everything needed for fast resolution. • Analyze recurring issues and propose long-term automation or process improvements to reduce future bug volume. • Participate in spec reviews, early feature planning, and risk assessment to ensure testability and clarity. • Help shape and improve our automation practices, sharing knowledge and supporting the development of more junior team members.
