Your Responsibilities In this role, you will lead the Cloud Platform Engineering team, balancing technical leadership with strategic roadmap ownership. You will ensure that Jedox's cloud infrastructure meets current and future business needs, champion best practices and foster a collaborative, innovative engineering culture that is aligned with our values of Customer Success and Innovation. - Lead and mentor engineers: Provide guidance, coaching, technical decision-making and code reviews to support a high-performing engineering team. - Own the technical roadmap: Act as a Technical Product Owner, translating platform goals into actionable priorities and ensuring successful execution together with your team. - Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with the engineering, product management, support and other teams to implement product-related features and platform improvements. - Drive cloud best practices: Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards by promoting the adoption of modern cloud technologies. - Advance AI-driven solutions: Lead initiatives that integrate AI to enhance automation, efficiency and platform capabilities. - Ensure high-quality documentation: Maintain clear, accurate and comprehensive documentation of system architecture, APIs and platform components. - Foster innovation and teamwork: Cultivate creativity, continuous improvement and strong collaboration within a multidisciplinary, multiproject environment. - Solve complex challenges: Address challenging technical issues with curiosity, determination, and a solution-oriented mindset. Your Profile - 6+ years' professional experience, including at least 3 years' experience of delivering cloud-native solutions. - Proven experience as a technical lead and/or technical product owner, ideally in DevOps, cloud development or platform engineering. - Strong hands-on knowledge of cloud services (Azure preferred), Kubernetes (AKS preferred) and Helm. - Experience in implementing GitOps practices is required. - Familiarity with tools such as ArgoCD, GitHub, Crossplane and Keda. - Ability to plan and manage technical tasks in sprint environments. - Highly motivated to continuously learn and develop skills. - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong attention to detail. Nice to have: - Experience with Observability tools such as Loki, Grafana, Honeycomb, Thanos, Mimir, Tempo etc. - Use Golang, Python, PHP, or similar, to write code from time to time. - Knowledge of DR, Storage (NetApp), Networking, Load balancers, etc. Location: We are ideally looking for a candidate based near one of our office locations in Frankfurt or Freiburg.
