Job Description

Field Service Engineer

Anord Mardix

• Provide installation supervision, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair work for low voltage distribution gear, transformers, and related power distribution equipment • Prepares technical reports/test sheets and monitoring of spare parts, tools/equipment, consumables • Maintain and follow safety regulations for the company and specific sites • Attend appropriate site meetings and interface with Project Management and Site personnel • Provide excellent customer service to clients and escalate needs for resolution • Communicate regularly with Project Managers and relay information • Proactively work to eliminate waste and add value to all processes

Job Requirements

  • Education to the Associates level in electrical power distribution or related field and/or 5+ years of similar work experience in a related field
  • Military experience preferred
  • Data Center or equivalent mission critical system experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working with electrical power distribution systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of UL Standards such as UL67, UL1008, UL10008S, UL60950, UL891, UL1558
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
  • Ability to use test equipment including multimeters, current meters, and related devices.
