Infrastructure Engineer

Libertex Group

• Design and deploy functional networks (mostly AWS and some remote physical data centers using LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall technologies). • Monitor network performance and integrity. • Deploy and support Kubernetes (K8s) services. • Resolve issues and troubleshoot cloud and local infrastructure using a service desk system. • Write infrastructure code — we use Terraform with Terragrunt. • Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness. • Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g., access authentication/authorization, disaster recovery). • Configure monitoring (VictoriaMetrics, ELK). • Communicate with internal users and Customer Service when needed. • Compile and maintain thorough technical documentation. • Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of network administration and architecture in geographically distributed environments.
  • 1+ years of cloud networking (preferably AWS) with medium-sized networks; Terraform experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of dynamic routing protocols (e.g., BGP) and access control models.
  • Proficiency in Linux administration and command-line tools.
  • Hands-on experience in network security and hardening.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic and monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, Zabbix, DynaTrace).
  • Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, including deployment, management, and troubleshooting of containerized apps.
  • Practical experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Service Desk systems (e.g., Jira Service Desk, ZenDesk).
  • Working knowledge of DNS, certificates, domain management, and CDNs (e.g., Cloudflare).
  • Spoken English at B2 level (Upper-Intermediate) or higher.
  • Experience with network equipment (e.g., Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet); knowledge of network OS (JUNOS, Cisco IOS).
  • Basic scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Perl).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, BSD Specialist) and degree in Computer Science or related field.
