Job Title: Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) – Azure Monitor & Observability Job Description Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) – Azure Monitor & Observability Role Overview As a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) in Microsoft Global Delivery, you will provide deep technical expertise in Azure Monitor and the Azure observability stack, supporting enterprise customers through design, deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions across cloud and hybrid environments. You will help customers gain operational visibility, improve reliability, and accelerate incident response by implementing scalable observability architectures aligned with Microsoft best practices. Key Responsibilities – Azure Monitor & Observability • Act as a technical authority for Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Alerts • Design and implement end-to-end monitoring strategies for Azure and hybrid workloads • Configure metrics, logs, dashboards, and alerts aligned to SRE and operational models • Support customers in improving availability, performance, and cost visibility Key Responsibilities – Troubleshooting & Operations • Diagnose complex issues using logs, metrics, and distributed traces • Analyze platform and application telemetry to identify root causes • Support incident response and post-incident reviews • Advise on alert tuning, noise reduction, and operational maturity Key Responsibilities – Integration & Architecture • Integrate Azure Monitor with Application Insights, VM Insights, Container Insights, and Network Insights • Support monitoring for IaaS, PaaS, Kubernetes, and hybrid workloads • Guide customers on governance, RBAC, data retention, and cost optimization • Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams on shared telemetry and visibility Required Technical Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics • Experience with Kusto Query Language (KQL) • Knowledge of Application Insights and workload-level telemetry • Solid understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and networking fundamentals Preferred Qualifications • Experience with SRE or operational excellence practices • Familiarity with Kubernetes monitoring and container observability • Strong problem-solving and communication skills Location: Italy - Work at Home Language Requirements: Time Type: Full time
