HSE Specialist – Project Support

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HSE Specialist to provide remote project support across a variety of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives. This role will deliver both administrative and technical support for: - Due diligence activities related to property exits and entries - Integration projects involving HSE data and compliance alignment - Environmental liabilities projects, including documentation and technical coordination - Other projects as assigned The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental regulations and practices across the Americas and Europe, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across time zones and cultures. Key Responsibilities: Property Due Diligence Support - Compile and review environmental and safety documentation for property acquisitions and divestitures - Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure timely and accurate data collection - Maintain records and track progress of due diligence activities Integration Project Support - Provide administrative support for HSE integration efforts during mergers, acquisitions, or organizational changes - Assist in aligning HSE documentation, systems, and reporting across legacy and new entities - Support data validation and gap analysis for compliance requirements Environmental Liabilities Support - Assist in managing environmental liability assessments and remediation tracking - Support documentation and administration of environmental issues - Support technical reviews and documentation of legacy environmental issues, under the consultation of subject matter experts - Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to develop, assess or modify environmental liability project plans. General Administrative Duties - Maintain project files, databases, and dashboards - Schedule virtual meetings across global time zones, prepare agendas, and document action items - Support reporting and presentation development for internal and external stakeholders Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Environmental science, Safety, or related field (or equivalent experience) - 5+ years of experience in HSE, environmental compliance, or project coordination - Familiarity with environmental due diligence, integration processes, and liability management - Understanding of environmental regulations and practices - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote, global setting Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in the energy, industrial, or manufacturing sectors - Knowledge of international environmental frameworks (e.g., REACH, EHS directives, EPA regulations, etc.) - Experience with HSE data systems or platforms - Multilingual capabilities or experience working in multicultural teams About Us:We are an energy technology company that provides solutions to energy and industrial customers worldwide.
