Role Description We are currently looking for a Sales Manager - Midwest US to join our busy and growing manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be engaged in elevating the department and company to the next level. The incumbent will be forward looking and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement. You will be provided the coaching and training needed throughout the onboarding and orientation process that will build from your base of skills acquired from your past experiences. You will learn our business during your training with our experts in Customer Experience, Sales, Engineering and Operations. GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY Reporting directly to the Sales Director - North America (NA), the Sales Manager – Midwest US will promote and sell products offered by the organization to new and existing customers while developing and building strong customer relationships. - Actively promote and sell products offered by the organization - Solicit new business and generate and qualify new leads - Develop and maintain existing customer relationships - Travel, source and develop client referrals - Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients - Combine technical knowledge and sales skills to demonstrate value-added solutions over competitive offerings - Participate in trade shows both national and international - Manage and train Distributors and or Resellers in the region, if applicable - All other duties as assigned Qualifications - Proven track record in prospecting, closing and growing business accounts in preferred related industries of – utility, natural gas, petro chemical, pipeline or instrumentation market segments - Willing to travel extensively in North America and internationally as required - Knowledge of mechanical/electronic processes and willing to be hands-on, if needed - Strong communications skills - Outstanding customer relationship skills - Excellent presentation skills and able to communicate with all levels of the organization - Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite software and other productivity tools - Has experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and software - Time management - Relationship Building, Leadership, Organizational Awareness - Proven ability to deliver results - Effective planning and organizational skills Requirements - Diploma/Degree in either Mechanical or Electronics Engineering with business aptitude and strong communication skills preferred - Minimum 5-10 years of technical sales in selling mechanical or electronic equipment – preferably related to utility, natural gas, petro chemical, pipeline or instrumentation market segments - Candidates must have experience selling equipment related to mechanical or electronics - Experience/exposure to a manufacturing environment Benefits - Market competitive salaries - Incentive Plan - 80% company paid medical and dental plans - 100% company paid STD, LTD, AD&D, Life Insurance - 401K matching plan - Training opportunities - Social events, a great team and more!
