Role Description The Solutions Design Specialist will support Disguise’s plans to expand our footprint in the Middle East, with a specific focus on Saudi Arabia. This role will report to the Director of Solutions Design but will primarily support the VP of Creative Services, Director of Innovation, and the local Disguise Sales Manager in the sales phase, technical conceptualisation, design, and scoping of complex projects, including virtual production stages, LED stages, broadcast solutions, and other immersive experiences. In particular, they will support the team of Disguise internal stakeholders and strategic external partners in helping clients refine their project vision in the market during early-stage ideation, helping clients and prospects to understand the ‘art of the possible’. The Solutions Design Specialist will then assist in developing system designs, creating technical project scopes, responding to ROMs (Rough Orders of Magnitude), and contributing to SOWs (Statements of Work) to ensure customer deliverables are clear and well understood by all internal and external stakeholders. They will also provide hands-on support throughout the project lifecycle, guiding and advising the broader Customer Excellence team to ensure designs are properly understood and supported through the effective installation or commissioning phase and to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and success. They will be able to operate independently and with an entrepreneurial spirit to help us succeed in this market, but equally are an excellent communicator and collaborator so that internal London-based stakeholders are aligned and informed. Qualifications - Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to customers and prospects in a commercially compelling way. - 8+ years of hands-on technical experience in immersive technologies, virtual production, live events technology, broadcast systems, LED stages, projection, camera tracking, or closely related systems. - Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex video projects end-to-end, from concept development through design, deployment, and delivery. - Strong technical system design capability, including proficiency with CAD software. - Solid experience working with real-time rendering technologies, video processing, and networked systems. - Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within complex, integrated technical environments. - Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple concurrent projects and evolving client requirements. - Highly self-directed with an independent, entrepreneurial mindset. - Strong collaborator, able to work effectively with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams including technicians, engineers, project managers, and creative professionals. Requirements - Experience in using diagramming tools such as Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Rhino (preferred but not essential). - Experience in using Disguise or other media server solutions (preferred but not essential). - An understanding of Unreal Engine, Notch, Unity, or other real-time 3D software (preferred but not essential). - Experience working in or on projects in the Middle East (preferred but not essential).
