Job Description

Senior Product Manager – Data Experience

Unqork

• Partner to Define the Data Vision: Collaborate deeply with Data Engineering, Tech Leads, Product peers, and CX to co-create the mental model for how data is handled within our platform, from project structure to complex service integrations. • Synthesize Customer & Internal Insights: Act as a bridge between our most sophisticated customers and our internal teams, translating high-level business requirements into usable, scalable data abstractions. • Drive AI-Native Innovation: Work cross-functionally to design AI-native data interactions where natural language serves as a primary control surface for generating data models and troubleshooting workflows. • Champion Governance & Compliance: In partnership with our security and legal teams, ensure data systems are inspectable and governable, specifically catering to the needs of enterprise-grade software in highly regulated environments. • Facilitate Technical Success: Support technical architects and software creators by removing friction in the "planning → building → testing" lifecycle, ensuring our data tools align with real-world developer workflows.

Job Requirements

  • The Ultimate Collaborator: A "player-coach" who thrives in a matrixed environment. You believe the best ideas are born through rigorous debate and partnership, not top-down mandates.
  • Experience: ~7 years in Product Management, specifically within developer platforms, IDEs, or complex data-heavy internal tools.
  • AI & Data Fluency: Hands-on experience with modern AI tooling (LLMs, agents) and a deep understanding of data experience design (modeling, integration, management).
  • Regulated Environment Savvy: Experience navigating the complexities of building software for industries with strict compliance, auditability, and risk requirements.
  • Proactive & Organized: A subject matter expert who brings structure to ambiguity and proactively identifies dependencies before they become blockers.
  • Humility & Subject Matter Expertise: You bring deep technical knowledge to the table but remain curious and open to feedback from customers and teammates alike.
  • Relational Leadership: Ability to build trust quickly with Engineering and CX teams.
  • Strategic Synthesis: Comfortable gathering disparate requirements from multiple stakeholders and distilling them into a cohesive roadmap.
  • Systems Thinking: Ability to see how a change in the data model affects the entire creator ecosystem.
