Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Subcontracts Administrator to oversee the full lifecycle of subcontract management. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all subcontracted work aligns with prime contract requirements, particularly concerning flow-down clauses, compliance standards, and performance metrics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations and demonstrate exceptional negotiation and organizational skills. This position plays a vital role in ensuring subcontracted efforts comply with prime contract requirements, especially with regard to flow-down clauses, regulatory compliance, and performance tracking. The successful candidate will possess a strong grasp of federal acquisition regulations and bring a strategic approach to negotiation, compliance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration. The Subcontracts Administrator will work closely with internal stakeholders to align subcontracting practices with organizational goals, ensuring quality, accountability, and contractual integrity across all subcontracted efforts. Responsibilities Include: - Administer subcontracts from pre-award to closeout, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and modification of agreements. - Ensure accurate implementation of flow-down clauses and obligations from prime contracts into subcontracts. - Monitor subcontractor compliance with applicable laws, FAR/DFARS regulations, and company policies. - Track subcontractor performance, deliverables, and schedules, initiating corrective actions as needed. - Maintain detailed subcontract files and documentation to ensure audit readiness. - Collaborate with legal, finance, procurement, and project management teams to support organizational objectives. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in subcontracts administration, preferably within the federal contracting environment. - Proficiency in interpreting and applying FAR/DFARS regulations. - Strong negotiation and analytical skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Requirements - Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or equivalent is a plus. - Experience with subcontract types such as Cost-Plus, Fixed Price, and Time & Materials. - Knowledge of compliance requirements related to labor laws, environmental regulations, and data security protocols. - Proficient experience using SharePoint, Excel, Word, Deltek Costpoint and SAM.gov website.
