Principal Engineering Program Manager, Endpoint Lifecycle, Virtual

Providence

• Partner with exceptional Engineering teams to architect services that delight caregivers across Providence • Shape vision and design multi‑year roadmaps that unify the end‑to‑end endpoint lifecycle • Establish operating rhythms, orchestration models, and enterprise programs to keep the endpoint ecosystem modern • Champion the voice of the caregiver while building mechanisms that make lifecycle management “invisible” to end users • Partner with engineering leaders to mature data foundations that lifecycle depends on

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • 8 or more years of related experience
  • Experience in a Healthcare environment
  • Master's Degree -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience (preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience as a program/project manager overseeing large, complex IT programs involving multiple teams
  • 8+ years of planning and leading organizational change to ensure lifecycle initiatives are adopted with minimal disruption
  • 5+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, EUC, or digital workplace analytics
  • 5+ years of experience defining and owning end‑to‑end endpoint lifecycle strategies across large, complex enterprises
  • 4+ years of healthcare IT experience or 4 years of supply chain/contract management experience
  • 4+ years working on physical deployment programs across multiple geographic locations
  • Experience working with OEMs and suppliers for hardware distribution
  • Experience leading qualification, standards, and RFP‑based evaluation processes for PCs, Macs, mobile, thin clients, and peripherals
  • Experience with data manipulation in excel or Power BI
  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops
  • Experience translating complex technical lifecycle work into clear, compelling narratives for executives and senior leadership
  • Strong understanding of Windows endpoint environments, hardware lifecycle, and modern management
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, ITSM integrations, or incident reduction automation
  • Experience supporting Windows 11 / modern OS transitions
  • Self starter and willing to take the initiative when given directions
  • Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills.

About the Role As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), at NinjaOne you will be the owner who drives critical engineering initiatives that need collaboration across multiple engineering and product teams. Join a newly formed team, where you can use your blend of technical curiosity, organizational skills, and project management. You will manage complex, multi-threaded projects from concept to delivery, ensuring that technical dependencies are mapped, risks are mitigated, and stakeholders are kept informed through high-signal reporting. You are responsible for the success of each program, setting and managing expectations within the working group and the leadership. Location - We are flexible on remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states - CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, *IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, and WA. We have physical offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL, if you prefer a hybrid option. We hire the best software engineers, but experience in our stack can’t hurt: NinjaOne is built on Java, Kotlin, C++, Golang and Postgres; supporting millions of user endpoints and running as a scalable cloud service in AWS. What You’ll be Doing - Outline Program Goals: outline goals for an engineering initiative and build alignment and shared vision within the working group to achieve the program outcomes and deliverables. Partner with Engineering leaders to understand constraints and translate them into requirements or plan workarounds that are acceptable. - Cross-Team Coordination and Collaboration: work with multi-disciplinary software engineering teams through continuous coordination, weekly reviews, status check points.
