Political Normalization Consultant
Nonviolent Peaceforce
• Provide non-binding political analysis and strategic advice relevant to SUSTAIN implementation. • Strengthen adaptive programming through risk analysis, scenario planning, and early-warning insights. • Ensure training, knowledge products, and communications meet conflict-sensitivity and do-no-harm standards. • Provide technical advisory guidance to inform mentorship and leadership-support approaches within project activities (without direct mentoring or facilitation). • Support project-level stakeholder engagement strategies and knowledge management for adaptive learning.
Job Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working with peace process stakeholders in the Bangsamoro or comparable conflict-affected contexts.
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in peacebuilding, conflict resolution, mediation support, political analysis, normalization, or related governance processes.
- Demonstrated ability to engage conflict-affected communities, former combatants, local leaders, or civil society actors in advisory, analytical, or programmatic roles.
- Experience providing technical, analytical, or advisory support to peacebuilding, governance, humanitarian, or development initiatives.
- Working knowledge of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB) or comparable peace agreements, normalization frameworks, or political transition processes.
- Proven capacity to provide neutral, non-partisan advice to diverse stakeholders, including government actors, community leaders, civil society, and international partners.

Role Overview: The Vocational Consultant is a frontline professional resource within the Vocational Services Department who applies accredited rehabilitation counseling expertise to support absence management and disability insurance services delivered under employer-based group benefit policies and contracts.
