What we need We are seeking talented Mid to Senior Animators to join our team in Los Angeles. This role involves creating high-quality, expressive, and compelling animation across a variety of characters and creatures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of animation principles, excellent technical skills, and a proven ability to deliver exceptional work within production timelines. What you do - Create polished, high-fidelity keyframe animation that meets the aesthetic and technical requirements of the project. - Collaborate closely with the Animation Director, Designers, and Technical Artists to ensure animations integrate seamlessly into the final product. - Contribute to the development of animation pipelines, tools, and best practices. - Mentor junior animators and provide constructive feedback to peers to elevate the overall quality of animation. - Participate in motion capture direction, cleanup, and implementation when required. - Iterate rapidly on animation assets based on feedback from the team and play testing /dailies. What you need Mid-Level Requirements - 3+ years of professional experience as an Animator in top tier features and episodic projects. - A strong portfolio demonstrating a solid grasp of the 12 Principles of Animation, weight, timing, and appeal. - Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software. - Experience working with production pipelines (e.g., ShotGrid ). Senior-Level Requirements (in addition to Mid-Level) - 5+ years of professional experience, with demonstrated ownership over significant animation features or sequences. - Expert-level keyframe animation skills and a deep understanding of character mechanics and performance capture data. - Proven ability to self-manage tasks, prioritise effectively, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Experience with rigging, scripting (e.g., Python, MEL), or technical animation is highly desirable. - Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience within an animation team. • Edit and produce short‑ and long‑form video content across channels including social, paid media, e‑commerce, email, and brand campaigns • Design and animate motion graphics that align with Paula’s Choice brand standards, typography, and visual language • Create motion systems for recurring content formats (product education, routines, testimonials, launches) • Apply strong pacing, rhythm, and storytelling to elevate clarity and engagement • Partner with Brand Design, Copy, Social, and Marketing to interpret briefs and deliver polished, on‑strategy assets • Collaborate early in campaign planning to identify motion‑first opportunities and creative efficiencies • Participate in creative reviews, contributing ideas and solutions that strengthen the final output • Ensure all video and motion assets adhere to the Paula’s Choice Brand Book and visual identity guidelines • Maintain a high bar for craft, consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail—especially in educational or science‑led content • Adapt assets for multiple formats and platforms while preserving intent and quality • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing timelines and priorities in a fast‑paced environment • Organize project files, templates, and motion libraries to support scalability and team efficiency • Stay current on motion design, editing tools, and platform best practices to continuously evolve our content

• Create detailed, realistic 3D models for architectural, product, and related design projects • Use Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, and V-Ray to render photorealistic visuals aligned with client specifications • Develop accurate engineering drawings in AutoCAD and integrate them into 3D designs • Produce and edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, incorporating 3D visuals and animations • Create motion graphics and engaging video content aligned with project goals • Edit, color grade, and compose video content to ensure seamless, high-quality final outputs • Use Adobe Photoshop to post-process 3D renders and composite final images • Apply lighting, textures, and materials to achieve visually accurate and photorealistic results • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other team members to integrate 3D models into broader project workflows • Interact with clients to understand requirements and implement revisions as needed • Maintain organized workflows while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
