• Provide on-site ship availability program management (PM) and technical support to Military Sealift Command (MSC) vessels. • Assist in observing and verification and reporting on engineering requirements associated with the maintenance, repair and modification of the vessel. • Provide all observations, reports and recommendations to the Principal Port Engineer (PPE). • Provide technical services for engineering development and documentation. • Verify installations, interfaces, test procedures, test results and compare to the specifications of the work items and drawings. • Provide review of shipyard production activities in the areas of piping and steel and aluminum fit-ups, weld inspection, and gauging. • Make determinations on plating and piping replacement requirements and provide recommendations to PPE. • Provide review of structural drawings and documents to ensure proper grade and plate sizes are being utilized. • Provide a written daily status report on assigned work items to the PPE. • Report any concerns to PPE. • Attend Quality Assurance Checkpoints. • Perform daily rounds walking the ship during various times of the day to observe and monitor shipyard work process, quality and progress being accomplished for assigned work items.

• Lead and manage a team of Test Development Technicians, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies for test development initiatives • Oversee the entire lifecycle of test development projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, validation, and deployment of test solutions • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery • Act as the primary point of contact for test development projects, communicating status and progress to stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the test development process, identifying and implementing best practices and new technologies • Provide technical expertise and guidance on the design, development, and debugging of automated test equipment (ATE) and manual test fixtures • Review and approve test plans, procedures, and documentation created by the technician team • Ensure adherence to industry standards, Jabil's internal quality standards, and customer specifications for all test solutions • Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to test equipment and test programs • Stay abreast of emerging test technologies and methodologies, evaluating their potential application within Jabil • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to define test requirements and integrate test solutions • Facilitate effective communication within the test development team and with external partners and suppliers • Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and recommendations to management • Manage test development budgets, equipment procurement, and maintenance schedules • Ensure proper training and development for the Test Development Technician team to enhance their skills and capabilities

• Define, document, and execute test plans for new features and product releases • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across multiple platforms • Build and maintain automated test suites to streamline CI/CD pipelines • Collaborate with backend, frontend, and product teams to understand requirements and edge cases • Identify, document, and track defects to closure using issue-tracking tools • Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and release readiness reviews • Validate REST APIs using tools like Postman, Swagger, or automated frameworks • Improve and maintain testing environments, data setups, and QA workflows • Advocate for quality across the engineering organization by driving best practices and test coverage

• Develop test cases based on business requirements and system specs for PolicyCenter modules (e.g., New Business, Renewals, Endorsements). • Perform UI, rules, workflow, and validation testing within PolicyCenter. • Conduct regression, smoke, and exploratory testing in test environments. • Validate Guidewire integrations with third-party systems via SOAP/REST APIs . • Perform backend data verification using SQL and data validation tools. • Work with logs, XML/JSON payloads, and tools like Postman , SoapUI , or ReadyAPI . • Log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps . • Participate in Agile ceremonies : daily standups, sprint planning, reviews. • Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and business users to understand expected system behavior. • Support test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, REST Assured ) if applicable. • Identify and propose areas for automation within PolicyCenter flows or integration points.
