AI Powered Systems Analyst

• Lead end-to-end requirements analysis including elicitation, refinement, validation, and ongoing management of functional and non-functional requirements • Act as a key interface between business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams • Analyse and design application-level architecture with a strong focus on APIs and system integrations • Define API requirements including contracts, request/response structures, error handling, and non-functional expectations • Model business processes, system workflows, and integration scenarios using BPMN and UML • Translate business needs into clear system specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Support backlog management, prioritisation, and impact analysis across multiple components • Use AI tools to accelerate analysis work, improve documentation quality, and support architectural decisions • Support solution validation, internal testing, and production readiness activities • Ensure traceability between business objectives, requirements, APIs, and delivered functionality
Job Requirements
- 4–5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst on complex software platforms
- Strong experience working with REST APIs and system integration patterns
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Hands-on experience with BPMN, UML, and tools such as Enterprise Architect or equivalent
- Experience analysing distributed systems and service-based architectures
- Practical, day-to-day use of AI tools in analysis and design workflows (e.g. Copilot, AI-assisted documentation or modelling tools)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Structured analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working in regulated or data-sensitive environments
