Job Description

Systems Engineer III

Franciscan Health

• Plans, installs, and maintains server hardware, operating systems, and end-user devices. • Provide analysis, development, modification, installation, testing and maintenance of operating systems software. • Partner with applications groups to evaluate vendor supplied software, and design platform and operating system solutions to meet the customers need. • Design, develop, recommend and maintain server and desktop platform standards, to meet the changing needs of the healthcare business. • Diagnose and repair server and desktop platform hardware and software problems. • Creates, streamlines and maintains server/workstation images. • Partner with support teams to ensure quick and appropriate solutions and repairs are delivered to the hospital end users. • Proactively monitor operating system performance to ensure high level performance for application users. • Provides technical direction to application teams for projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree IT-related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, MIS, Information Security) or equivalent experience
  • 3 years Relevant work experience unless promotional criteria can be met
  • 6 years Relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
  • EPIC Certified or Accredited (if required by role)
