Oracle Essbase Consultant – Databricks Migration
TMS
• Perform hands-on data integration and maintenance activities in Oracle Essbase • Support and manage BSO and ASO cubes • Analyze existing Essbase workloads and identify candidates for migration • Migrate and replace selected Essbase workloads with Databricks-based solutions • Design and validate data models and transformations during migration • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and reconciliation • Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams • Ensure data accuracy, performance, and scalability post-migration • Document migration processes, mappings, and best practices
Job Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Essbase
- Proven experience with BSO (Block Storage Option) and ASO (Aggregate Storage Option) cubes
- Experience with Essbase data integration tools
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Nice to Have
- Experience with Databricks and cloud-based data platforms
- Prior experience migrating legacy OLAP systems to modern analytics platforms
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL frameworks
