QA Analyst – Publishing

NEOWIZ

• As a QA Analyst supporting NEOWIZ’s global publishing portfolio, you will be responsible for independently driving quality validation, risk identification, and release readiness across externally developed game titles. • You will independently plan and execute functional, compatibility, performance, and regression testing across PC and console platforms, based on agreed publishing milestones and quality standards. • You will evaluate game builds provided by external development partners, assess overall quality and risk, and provide structured feedback aligned with NEOWIZ’s publishing requirements. • You will document, track, and validate defects using industry-standard tools such as Jira, ensuring issues are clearly reproducible, prioritized, and communicated to relevant stakeholders. • You will support first-party certification processes for Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo by validating compliance requirements and contributing to submission readiness. • You will design and maintain test plans, test cases, and checklists, while continuously refining QA documentation and testing approaches to improve coverage and efficiency. • You will contribute QA assessments during milestone reviews, highlighting quality trends, release risks, and recommendations. • You will validate patches, updates, and live content as part of live operations support, ensuring stability and player experience post-launch.

Job Requirements

  • You bring a minimum of three years of professional QA experience within the games industry, ideally within a publisher or external development environment.
  • You have a strong command of QA methodologies, defect lifecycles, and industry best practices, and are comfortable operating independently with defined objectives.
  • You are experienced with at least one professional bug-tracking system and consistently produce clear, actionable defect documentation.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify systemic quality risks beyond individual bugs.
  • You communicate effectively with cross-functional and external stakeholders in a distributed, international environment.
  • A genuine passion for games and player experience is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with console certification standards such as TRC, XR, NAC, or NOPS is highly valued.
  • Experience working with external development studios, external QA vendors, or publishing organizations is a strong advantage.
