Sonatafy Technology - Mexico
• Lead the development, customization, and implementation of Magento themes, modules, and extensions. • Design and implement custom features and integrations using Magento’s API, adhering to best practices in PHP and Magento. • Execute Hyvä theme migration and ongoing maintenance, ensuring compatibility, optimal performance, and adherence to responsive design and accessibility best practices. • Manage Hyvä Checkout implementation and maintenance, ensuring seamless user experience and conversion optimisation. • Customize Magento templates using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to ensure a seamless and responsive user interface. • Develop and optimize back-end functionality, including database queries, caching, indexing, and data migration using MySQL and PHP. • Integrate Magento with third-party services, including payment gateways and shipping providers using Magento REST APIs. • Diagnose performance issues and optimize site speed through efficient use of caching mechanisms and front-end optimizations. • Implement security best practices in Magento development, ensuring PCI compliance and secure handling of customer data. • Work closely with product owners, designers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality e-commerce solutions. • Provide ongoing technical support for the Magento platform, troubleshooting issues, and performing regular updates and maintenance.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Adobe Commerce Cloud / Magento development, with a focus on Magento 2.
- Expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Strong experience with Magento module and theme development, Magento REST APIs.
- Proven expertise in migrating Magento stores from Luma to Hyvä themes across both front-end and back-end development, combined with hands-on experience implementing and maintaining Hyvä Checkout for optimized user experience and secure integrations.
- Experience with front-end development (Less.js, Grunt, and RequireJS) and back-end optimization (database performance, caching, and indexing).
- Deep understanding of Magento’s architecture, including the MVC pattern, dependency injection, and EAV data model.
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and Magento CLI.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including automated deployments and Composer.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, online payment gateways, and SEO best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience leading projects and mentoring junior developers.

Design and Development of OIC Integrations in at least one end-to-end implementation project in OIC to Oracle ERP Cloud including extracting Oracle ERP Cloud data using BI Publisher reports. Design and develop integrations in OIC to Oracle ERP Cloud including data load using FBDI using Oracle ERP Cloud data using BI Publisher reports. Hands-On Experience of XSLT transformations. Hands-On Experience in integration methods i.e. SOAP and Rest Web Services, FBDI, and ADF DI. Basic knowledge in the development of packages and functions using SQL/PLSQL and exposing them as REST using ORDS. Good Knowledge of building custom ESS jobs. Hands-on with development and unit testing of integration components and web services (SOAP/REST) using OIC Working knowledge in integration with Autonomous databases i.e. ATP/ADW will be an advantage.
