• Provide study, project and program-specific medical monitoring and review services • Leading of all medical aspects of contracted tasks • Supervising of safety variables • Discussing with clients, investigators and healthcare professionals of medical issues in the pre and post approval services by using accurate medical judgment, interpretation and decision • Provide medical consultation to team members and answer study related medical questions • Communicate clearly with associates and clients, maintaining an open line of communication to ensure all procedures are followed appropriately • Analysis and assessment of safety data to identify and run emerging safety signals • Medical review of individual case safety reports, serious adverse event reports and clinical outcome reports. • Assist in Business Development activities • Present PPD standard medical safety processes to clients at business development meetings and connect with various medical communities to explore and expand PPD business • Participate in training of project teams • Provide therapeutic and protocol training as needed • Write, review and approve reports, regulatory submissions and protocols, ensuring that the medical content is accurate and complete.
Job Requirements
- MD, MB/BS or equivalent degree and strong medical knowledge
- validated clinical experience handling Neuroscience patients in hospital practice
- Significant experience within pharmaceutical industry, clinical trials or pharmaceutical medicine is beneficial
- Is proficient in spoken and written English
- Solid understanding of regulatory guidelines for adverse event reporting
- Strong communication & presentation skills and is a strong standout colleague.

Role Description We are looking for a Psychiatric PA-C to provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment to our patients. Services will be provided remotely, through telemedicine, to patients of our Community Health Center partners throughout the United States. We are a "say yes" first clinical provider and look to treat patients where they are and guide them along their journey to recovery and stabilization. - Providers must have an active, unrestricted medical license in state of primary residence and New Mexico. Key Areas of Ownership - Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluations for General Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder across all age spectrums. - Psychopharmacological management of all psychiatric diagnosed treatment conditions. - Provide medication-assisted treatment to those with OUD in active withdrawal or recovery. - Supportive psychotherapy, motivational interviewing and proficiency in trauma informed approach, harm reduction modeling and patient-centered treatments. - Demonstrate proficiency and care coordination between psych, substance use tx and medical integration. - Direct support for scheduled and walk-in patients. - Completion of validated rating scales documentation and treatment plans to assist in determining level of care. - Care coordination for patients including psychological testing, medical referrals, resources, peer supports, housing and other social determinants otherwise identified. - Direct involvement with multidisciplinary team including PCP's, Pediatricians, OB/GYN, counseling, peer support staff and care coordinators.
