Role Description We are looking for a Psychiatric PA-C to provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment to our patients. Services will be provided remotely, through telemedicine, to patients of our Community Health Center partners throughout the United States. We are a "say yes" first clinical provider and look to treat patients where they are and guide them along their journey to recovery and stabilization. - Providers must have an active, unrestricted medical license in state of primary residence and New Mexico. Key Areas of Ownership - Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluations for General Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder across all age spectrums. - Psychopharmacological management of all psychiatric diagnosed treatment conditions. - Provide medication-assisted treatment to those with OUD in active withdrawal or recovery. - Supportive psychotherapy, motivational interviewing and proficiency in trauma informed approach, harm reduction modeling and patient-centered treatments. - Demonstrate proficiency and care coordination between psych, substance use tx and medical integration. - Direct support for scheduled and walk-in patients. - Completion of validated rating scales documentation and treatment plans to assist in determining level of care. - Care coordination for patients including psychological testing, medical referrals, resources, peer supports, housing and other social determinants otherwise identified. - Direct involvement with multidisciplinary team including PCP's, Pediatricians, OB/GYN, counseling, peer support staff and care coordinators. Qualifications - Active and unrestricted Medical License in state of primary residence and state of medical services being provided. - 2+ years of experience as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Provider (Required). - DEA License. - Bilingual- English and Spanish (preferred). - A patient-first mindset. - Comfortability to work in fully-remote environment. • Oversight and understanding of all aspects of the assigned product’s safety profile from clinical development to post-approval safety surveillance, including management of CROs and other partners that provide clinical and safety data • Chair of the Safety Management Committee for designated product(s), responsible for identifying any emerging safety trends, defining the safety profile, and recommending safety actions based upon cumulative safety data • In collaboration with the regulatory and clinical development team, establish the safety strategy for marketing authorization applications, including the preparation of CTD documents, engagement with regulatory authorities, and authoring responses to inquiries • Support the clinical development team in the review of key documents, including protocol and ICFs • Manage the drug safety contract service organizations (CROs) for clinical programs to ensure compliance with expedited reporting, manage on-time and scientifically sound DSUR preparation, and ensure the drug safety functions of the CROs meet corporate goals and key performance indicators • Assist in the medical review of adverse event reports; manage preparation and submission of drug safety expedited reporting in compliance with regulations, when necessary • Develop and prepare assessments of safety data, safety signals, and benefit/risk for internal senior management as well as external partner or regulatory authorities • Assist in the authoring of aggregate reports
