• Provide engineering of enterprise-wide telecommunication systems including evaluation, design, provisioning, and implementation of technology solutions and services • Serve as an architect for new telephony systems and buildout constructs • Ensure system performance, availability, and reliability of deployed technology/services • Act as an escalation point on complex technical problems and support issues providing problem diagnostic and consulting services • Provide project budgeting estimates to include scope of work and contract reviews • Communicate production requirements for on-going maintenance and support • Provide design requirements and configuration of new and/or upgraded telecommunications hardware and software • Coordinate the installation of hardware, Operating System, applications software, and peripherals as required • Develop and communicate technical environmental requirements related to physical space, system security, power, HVAC, etc. • Participate in project and change control meetings concerning the physical placement and installation of telecommunication solutions • Document all related activities using a standard Project Book • Provide for the design, planning and scheduling of integrating additional hardware, OS upgrades, or enhancements into production systems

• Troubleshoot critical customer reported issues in the Vault CRM products • Fix bugs in the Vault CRM code • Learn everything about the Vault CRM modules and use that knowledge to ensure our customers are successful • Build tools to help with fixing and troubleshooting product issues • Collaborate with the Development, Support, Product, and QA teams to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues • Identify problems that may impact multiple customers

• Lead the identification and development of integrated InP semiconductor laser and SOA solutions for silicon photonic LiDAR systems. • Design, simulate, and characterize state-of-the-art narrow-linewidth DFB, DBR, and external-cavity lasers used as LiDAR seed sources. • Develop high-power, wide-temperature-range SOAs to enable long-range LiDAR operation in industrial and automotive environments. • Own hands-on design and simulation of laser cavities and epitaxial structures to meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability targets. • Drive architectural decisions for the light source, advising the broader system and silicon photonics teams on optimal approaches. • Partner closely with Voyant’s packaging and silicon photonics teams to integrate InP sources into PICs, evaluating coupling efficiency, thermal behavior, yield, and scalability. • Manage and grow external III-V vendor relationships and supply chain strategy, scaling toward high-volume production (up to millions of die per year). • Lead in-house and partner-based characterization and validation of light source performance, using data to guide design iterations and next-generation chip architectures. • Define test strategies, performance metrics, and qualification plans for laser and SOA subsystems. • Contribute to system-level LiDAR performance trade studies, linking laser and amplifier design choices to range, resolution, and reliability.

• Lead advanced research initiatives to explore emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices that can be leveraged within our product verticals. • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams without direct management responsibility. • Organize training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing events to enhance the technical skills and architectural understanding of the development team. • Support career development of engineering team members through coaching and feedback, helping to build a strong talent pipeline. • Collaborate with the CTO, and business stakeholders to define a long-term innovation strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and market demands. • Develop and continuously refine a long-term technical roadmap, incorporating emerging technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance product offerings. • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools that align with the company’s strategic goals and improve operational efficiency. • Identify opportunities for innovation in product features and enhancements, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver competitive advantages. • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and customer success to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and architecture designs. • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and brainstorming sessions to align teams on architectural direction and priorities. • Serve as a technical advisor to engineering, product, and operations teams, helping to resolve complex architectural challenges. • Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and guidelines for software development, deployment, and operations to ensure high-quality software delivery across all products and platforms. • Implement processes which ensure architectural alignment and adherence to best practices and standards. • Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, design patterns, and decision logs, to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing across teams. • Represent the company at industry conferences, workshops, and seminars to share insights, gather feedback, and foster partnerships that advance our technology initiatives. • Stay abreast of industry advancements and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
