Job Description

Global Financial Operations Director

UpEnergy

• Lead and scale the company’s global accounting, financial operations, and compliance functions across multiple geographies. • Ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, efficient cash management, and robust systems and processes. • Lead monthly close and consolidated reporting process for global entities. • Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, payroll, accounts receivable, and intercompany accounting. • Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and establish consistent accounting policies. • Coordinate and oversee all tax filings and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and tax advisors. • Ensure timely completion of local statutory audits. • Manage global cash management, liquidity planning, and intercompany funding. • Train and support finance teams on systems, processes, controls, and best practices. • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks related to financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA and/or CPA/ACCA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting, controllership, or financial operations experience.
  • Experience working in the accounting or operational finance function of a global or multi-entity organization.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing financial statements and general ledger (QuickBooks experience preferred).
  • Proven experience with tax filings, tax authorities, and internal and external audits across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience operating as a trusted finance partner to senior executives and leadership teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team-building, and cross-cultural management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to company operating markets.

We’re looking for a Head of TikTok Shop to own and scale our TikTok Shop channel end to end. This is a hands-on, performance-driven role. You’ll be responsible for taking TikTok Shop from ~$25K/month in evergreen revenue to ~$100K/month and building a repeatable system that continues to scale. You’ll manage creator affiliates, shop execution, and performance optimization while partnering closely with Paid Media, Creative, and E-commerce. This role is ideal for someone who lives inside TikTok Shop, understands creator incentives, and knows how to turn content into consistent revenue. What You’ll Own TikTok Shop Growth & Performance - Own day-to-day TikTok Shop execution, optimization, and results. - Scale TikTok Shop from ~$25K/month to ~$100K/month in evergreen revenue within 12 months. - Manage performance against CPA, ROAS, and payback targets. - Execute assortment strategy, pricing, promotions, seeding, reviews, and livestream support. - Monitor shop health, fulfillment issues, refunds, and customer experience signals. Creator & Affiliate Execution - Recruit, onboard, and activate 1,500–2,500 TikTok Shop affiliates over 12 months. - Manage a tiered creator ecosystem: - High-volume affiliates - Consistent mid-tier creators - A small group of top performers - Drive repeat posting through clear incentives, commissions, and expectations. - Ensure predictable creator output aligned to product and promo priorities. Creator Content for Paid & Organic Scale - Partner with Paid Media to surface top-performing TikTok Shop content for Spark Ads. - Support creator whitelisting and permissions (with guidance from Paid Media). - Ensure FTC compliance and adherence to brand guidelines. - Help scale creator content that can be reused across paid ads, PDPs, and organic social. Systems & Reliability - Build and run workflows to manage hundreds of active creators at once. - Use tools and dashboards to track affiliates, commissions, content, and usage rights. - Keep operations organized across seeding, communication, and follow-ups. - Ensure TikTok Shop runs smoothly without constant firefighting. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Paid Media, Creative, Growth, E-commerce, and CX/Ops. - Align creator pushes with launches, promos, and inventory. - Feed TikTok Shop learnings back into paid ads, PDPs, and organic social.
