Sales Manager – Financial Services
Circit
• Owning and driving the overall growth of Circit’s financial services sales pipeline, covering banks, asset managers, and fund service providers • Managing, coaching, and developing a small team of Sales Executives, with responsibility for performance, targets, and day-to-day execution • Driving the conversion of the sales funnel from origination to close, with a strong focus on prioritisation, deal progression, and velocity • Actively selling alongside the team, including originating and closing deals with key target accounts • Defining, implementing, and continuously improving sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting discipline using HubSpot • Allocating target accounts and territories (non-geographic) to ensure efficient coverage and focus across a large universe of financial institutions • Performing and supporting high-quality demos of the Circit platform to senior decision-makers within banks, asset managers, and service providers • Working closely with product, marketing, and strategy teams to ensure feedback from prospects and customers informs product direction and go-to-market execution • Collaborating with auditor sales team to ensure alignment and optimal resource allocation • Representing Circit at relevant industry events and conferences to build brand presence and senior-level relationships • Hiring and scaling additional sales resources over time as the commercial organisation grows
Job Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally selling into banking, asset management, fintech, or financial services
- Prior experience managing or leading salespeople, formally or informally, in a quota-carrying environment
- Strong track record of closing complex deals and consistently hitting or exceeding targets
- Deep understanding of the full sales funnel, from outbound origination through to close
- Experience using HubSpot (or similar CRM) to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and improve conversion rates
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially sharp, structured, and comfortable balancing strategy with execution
- A proactive, builder mindset — motivated by creating scalable sales processes, not just running existing ones
- Desired Criteria
- Existing relationships within banks, asset managers, or fund service providers in EMEA or the US
- Experience or knowledge of the audit industry
- Experience or knowledge of open banking and commercial APIs
- Experience operating in early-stage or high-growth SaaS environments
- Experience selling across multiple geographies or managing globally distributed teams
