Area Sales Manager

• Achieve or exceed targets for bookings, revenue, and gross margin, and meet forecasts. • Conduct active field visits, demonstrations, and manage sales opportunities. • Identify and develop new Specialized Distributors and new Direct Customers in target vertical markets. • Provide commercial, technical, and application support to distributors and key end users. • Serve as the primary point of contact for direct customers, distributors, and internal teams, addressing all specific inquiries from various stakeholders. • Optimize territory coverage to maximize reach and impact. • Manage day-to-day business in efficient and timely manner. • Monitor and report on business trends, product fit and customer requirements.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience and demonstrated success in a commercial role in assembling power tools and industrial products
- Preferred degree in a Technical or Business-related discipline
- Experienced and knowledgeable in power tools, with proficiency in software/hardware applications would be a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and CRM systems (Salesforce is a plus)
- Strong team player, adept at collaborating with global cross-functional teams
- Fluent in both spoken and written Czech, Slovak or Hungarian and English
- Skilled in identifying opportunities, asking insightful questions, and understanding customers' needs beyond fixed products and solutions
- Comfortable with extensive travel, up to 75% of the time
- Exemplary written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Highly organized in managing time, territory, and associated administrative functions
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work the necessary hours to fulfil job responsibilities effectively
