Data Analyst II
Astreya
• Develop and maintain complex data models and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand forecasting, capacity planning, and supply chain operations. • Utilize strong SQL skills to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from various sources, including internal databases, external APIs, and cloud-based platforms. • Design and implement data pipelines to automate data collection, cleaning, and processing, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. • Conduct in-depth analysis of supply chain and product utilization data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide actionable insights to optimize resource allocation and improve operational efficiency. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including demand planners, supply planners, and product managers, to understand their data requirements and provide tailored reports and dashboards. • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, and develop innovative solutions to enhance data analysis capabilities. • Contribute to the development of processes and procedures to improve data accuracy • Implement dashboards to drive clear communication around the story being told by the data.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 3+ years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Builds productive internal and external working relationships
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Utilize strong SQL skills to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from various sources, including internal databases, external APIs, and cloud-based platforms.
- Creating and modifying macros, as well as creating dashboards using SQL coding.
- Experience with Data-Analytics and creating Dashboards.
- Excellent written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills to include; formulas, functions, pivot tables, lookup and reference formulas (i.e. vlookups), statistical formulas (countifs, sumifs), macros (ability to create new and edit existing), conditional formatting, importing data, creating graphs/charts, etc.
- Ability to independently analyze large amounts of data; including the ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends, gaps, patterns in complex data sets.
