Data Governance Analyst

• Ensure the company’s data is reliable, consistent, secure, and compliant with internal and regulatory standards • Work closely with business areas to promote good governance practices, supporting the definition of policies, processes, and data quality metrics • Contribute to spreading a data-driven culture across the organization • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and international stakeholders • Participate in meetings and presentations conducted in English (advanced proficiency)

Job Requirements

  • Experience in medium to large companies within the industrial or technology sectors is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Knowledge of the data lifecycle and data governance concepts (quality, security, ethics, and compliance)
  • Experience as a data analyst / data governance analyst
  • Previous involvement in data governance, data quality management, or data compliance projects
  • Participation in the implementation of data management policies, standards, or processes
  • Experience defining business glossaries, quality indicators, or governance roles (data owners, data stewards)
  • Experience collaborating with business areas to link data governance to strategic outcomes (revenue, efficiency, innovation)
  • Familiarity with: Data Catalog, Unity Catalog, Data Lineage, Data Quality, Data Security and Privacy, LGPD, GDPR, PII, Metadata Management, Data Policies, and MDM
