• Responsible for sales management and generating new business & expansion of the customer base through regular customer visits • Generates and closes new business opportunities by promoting current and emerging technologies as they become available • Identifies market trends, assesses market potential and develops strategies to grow CHI’s market share in the Pharma segment • Supports execution of operational excellence projects with the objective to sustain profitable revenue growth, strong market share and long-term partnership with his customers • Be an active listener to customers’ needs to meet implicit and explicit expectations • Provides timely customer support to ensure superior experience with CHI, defines ad-hoc plans and coordinates with internal resources to secure preferred supplier position at customers
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales or life sciences field
- Proven track record in sales of pharmaceutical products (we're specifically interested in APIs, primary packaging sales for pharma industry or excipients)
- Familiarity with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.com
- Business proficient English is essential for the position, additional languages are a plus

• Manage agents within a designated area of responsibility using in-person, virtual, phone, and email to build relationships, deliver training, and manage agency performance • Acts as subject matter expert on GEICO and GEICO-affiliated products, features, and tools while also understanding and maintaining a clear understanding of competitor offerings to increase preference for GEICO’s products • Takes national strategic initiatives and translates them into local goals and objectives to increase agent engagement, execution, and growth • Delivers effective communications; assists agencies in developing local marketing plans and strategies to meet growth goals • Uses data analysis to prepare pre-call strategies to focus on the greatest opportunity within the designated area of responsibility and/or specific agency • Monitors the performance of agents in relation to goals, procedures, and guidelines • Conducts training of agency staff on GEICO and GEICO-affiliated products, services, and value proposition • Counsel agents, and with leadership support, takes disciplinary action of agents up to and including termination • Prospects, interviews, and approves new appointments to expand GEICO’s agency distribution • Adheres to the GEICO Code of Conduct, company policies and operating principles.
